How to set up myBalto Foundation



Step 1: myBalto Platform

  • Navigate to Settings => Veterinary Mgt Software

Step 2: Click on Instinct, and then Save

  • By clicking on Save, we will reach out to Instinct to obtain credenitals for your hospital. This may take between 24-48 hours depending on how quickly the Instinct team takes to provide us with them.

Please note, you will need to sign Instincts API Agreement!

Step 3: Get Started!

While you wait for confirmation from us, feel free to move foward with the below and get started rounding up!

Note: you won't be able to submit a claim until we have your credentials.



Add the myBalto Foundation Donation

Step 1: Login to your Instinct Platform

Step 2: Navigate to Admin Section

Step 3: Click on "+New Product"

Step 4: Add "myBalto Foundation Donation"

  • Name: Please copy this text EXACTLY as it appears:
    • myBalto Foundation Donation
  • PIMS ID: We recommend 9999, however feel free to choose any ID that works with your system preferences.
  • Class: Automatic Charge
  • Active: Turn on (in orange)
  • Unit Price: $1.00
  • Dispensing Fee: $0
  • Min Price: $0
  • Max Price: $0

Once you have filled in the above fields, hit "Save"

Step 5: Search for your Product to Verify it has been added

Step 6: Head over to myBalto Platform to Verify

  • Navigate to Settings => Veterinary Mgt Software
  • Click on the "Verify" button under the Donation Id Verified

How to add Round-up charge to my Invoice

Step 1: Select your invoice

Step 2: Search for myBalto Foundation Donation

  • You can also search by the code you created in the above step.

Step 3: Update the Quantity

  • Increase the quantity based on the round-up amount selected by the client.
