How to set up myBalto Foundation
- Navigate to Settings => Veterinary Mgt Software
- Click on "Instructions to Connect your VMS" (that should bring you to THIS page)
- Please copy the below email and send to [email protected] and cc' [email protected]. Dear Kim, Can you provide me the API credentials to connect our hospital, (HOSPITAL NAME) with the myBalto Foundation. Thank you!
- This may take between 24-48 hours depending on how quickly the Instinct team takes to respond to you. You then must log-in to the provided form and send your credentials to [email protected]. We will then be able to connect your account.
Please note, you will need to sign Instincts API Agreement!
While you wait for confirmation from us, feel free to move foward with the below and get started rounding up!
Note: you won't be able to submit a claim until we have your credentials.

- PIMS ID: We recommend 9999, however feel free to choose any ID that works with your system preferences.
- Class: Product
- Active: Turn ON (in orange)
- Billable: Turn ON (in orange)
- Selling Price: $0.01
- Dispensing Fee: $0
- Min Price: $0
- Max Price: $0
Once you have filled in the above fields, hit "Save"
- Navigate to Settings => Veterinary Mgt Software
- Click on the "Verify" button under the Donation Id Verified
- You can also search by the code you created in the above step.
- Increase the quantity based on the round-up amount selected by the client.
