How to set up myBalto Foundation

How to Configure

This section details how to configure the myBalto Foundation Platform and your Hippo Manager integration.



Sync Credentials to the myBalto Foundation Platform

The following section details how to sync your "Hippo Manager" account to the myBalto Foundation Platform.

1.) During onboarding, in the myBalto Platform, select "Hippo Manager"

2.) Copy your Clinic Name "Animal Cove Vet Clinic- North" as an example, and paste it back into the myBalto Foundation Platform

3.) Hit "Verify"

4.) If everything checks out, the "Continue" button with change colors and you can proceed to the next step.

5.) If you run into any issues, please send us a message via email or hit us up via the chat widget in the corner.

Add myBalto Foundation Line Item to Hippo Manager

In order to add the myBalto Foundation Donation to your Hippo Manager instance please follow the below instructions.

1.) Log into Hippo Manager with relevant admin privileges

2.) Click on the ‘Administration’ tab

3.) Click on "Items and Services" from the center menu

4.) Create New Item

5.) Follow the below steps to add the "myBalto Foundation Donation" to your account:

  • Item Definition
    • Product Name => "myBalto Foundation Donation" (please copy and paste this exactly as it is).
    • Location => Select the locations where this should be allowed
  • Item Behavior => Not required
  • Item Price
    • Unit Price => $1.00
    • Cost Price => $0.00
    • Markup Percentage => 0.00
    • Minimum Sales Price => $0.00
    • Dispensing Fee => $0.00
    • Toggle "Non Taxable"

Once you've added the above fields, don't forget to hit SAVE

6.) Once you've added your Product, you can continue your myBalto Onboarding.



How to add it to my invoice?

1.) During Checkout simply search for "myBalto Foundation Donation" and select it to add it to the Client's invoice.

2.) Easily update the price or quantity to reflect the amount the client wants to "round-up".
