How to set up myBalto Foundation



Step 1 - Fill in the hospital information

Please provide your hospital contact name, hospital contact phone number and hospital email.

Step 2 - Add myBalto Foundation Product

  • In your Pulse Portal, click on Menu, then on Products & Services

Step 3-

  • Click on "Add Service"

Step 4-

  • Create your item with the following information
    • Please copy and paste the below, do not add any additional spaces or change the formatting of the text. 
      • Item Type => Service
      • Category => Other
        • If you do not have an other Category, feel free to add to any category that your Hospital prefers.
      • Code => 9999
      • Internal Name => myBalto Foundation Donation
      • Invoice Name => myBalto Foundation
      • Cost => $0.00
      • Price => $1.00
      • Tax Level => None
      • Barcode, Markup, Discount => leave empty
      • Toggles:
        • Show on invoice (active / on)
        • Include in Provider Production (inactive / off)
        • Allow Discount (inactive / off)
        • DICOM Integration (inactive / off)
  • Hit SAVE

Please wait 48 hours for our system to VERIFY your hospital and the product has been added.



Step 5- Head back to the myBalto Foundation Platform

  • Go to Settings --> Veterinary Management Software --> Click the "Verify" Button

Step 6 - That's it! You can now continue your onboarding following the prompts.

  • If you've successfully connected your account, you will be able to proceed to the next step of onboarding.
  • If you receive an error message, please review the common mistakes we see:
    • Confirm you did not add another space at the end of your business name
    • Please verify your address that you entered in Step 3 of the myBalto Onboarding process matches exactly with your address in Shepherd.
    • If all of the above still does not correct the issue, please reach out to our team using the chat feature (bottom right corner) or email us at [email protected] and the team will assist you.

It is highly recommended that, once verified, you walk through a practice donation and make sure everything is running smoothly
